Domaine Les Monts Fournois "Vallée - Mareuil-sur-Aÿ" Champange NV de LUXE

This is a very special and unique project, spearheaded by Juliette Alips and Raphaël and Vincent Bérêche. The first bottles of Champagne that we've seen under this label are part of what is essentially a négociant project, where they are sourcing wine from various terroirs in the heart of Champagne.

The majority of vineyards are located on south-facing slopes planted mainly to Pinot Noir near the town of Mareuil-sur-Aÿ which is a neighbor of the town of Aÿ, located at the Marne River, south of Montagne de Reims. Mareuil is generally considered to be the best premier cru village.

Bottled in June 2016, disgorged in September 2022. Composed of 70% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay, and 10% Pinot Meunier. 5.6 g/liter.
